“Unlocking Doors Initiative” Symposium – January

“Are There Any Benefits to Faith and Community-Based Nonprofit
Development?”
A national program of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The Los Angeles program featured experts in faith and community
development in five topic areas including; Homeless, Affordable
and Market-Rate Housing Development. There were also presentations
on Commercial and Mixed-Use development. They discussed challenges,
local concerns and successful case studies of projects developed
in Southern California. More than 75 faith and community-based developers
attended.
